Serra de Marao

Serra de Marao

The Serra do Marão is the seventh highest point in mainland Portugal, with 1415 meters and 689 meters of topographic prominence. It is located in the transition region of the Douro Litoral to Tras os Montes and Alto Douro.

Here we have the Portuguese Daniel enjoying his picnic. He's a portuguese exeptionnal boy, he is refusing to eat meat and fish ... likes rather maracuja's and tomato's.

Then we have Jeroen, the Belgian, hiding in a tree;

He also likes to enjoy a picnic.

The weather was kind of rainy but we managed to survive. Only we got lost several times, ... but the solution is to ask to locals in small towns ...

Then Daniel has taken some beautiful pictures of Serra de Marao- places like Tijao and the region.

And some shoots of Daniel.
